Senator. Good to note your headline that "...a success" Success means folks having a say. Noted your measured reaction to the possibility of no property taxes but possibly an increase in sales tax. No easy solution. As long as the legisture is listening a workable solution..tho imperfect..will be had.
Concerned re latest "no property tax" idea from the House side of the Legislature. Does that mean no school tax, no gasoline tax,etc. Most lower income folks would end up paying more in taxes than they currently pay on property and the Counties would just keep on piling it on as they have in the past. Your portability idea was easy to follow and was on the fast track for completion. .
